Do you know students from low-income households are 2 times more likely to repeat a grade or drop out of school, limiting their educational achievements and future earning potential?

Students in our Create Success program receive dedicated support to advance forward.

Our program aims to help children and youth gain the confidence, knowledge, and skills to succeed in their educational journeys. We approach that by providing academic mentorship from prekindergarten through 8th grade. Students receive help advancing grade levels by closing skills gaps, integrating academic learnings, cultivating reading and study habits, and socializing with peers in small group settings (max ratio of 12:1 students per tutor).

Families utilize our year-round services in our after school and summer program program models.

In our after school model , young learners gain opportunities to advance language fluency, reading strategies, writing techniques, and math reasoning in small groups.  Students receive literacy building exercises, mini lessons, homework help, free refreshments, recreational activities and learning games from trained tutors while they’re in our care.  Afterschool typically runs from September to June, Monday through Friday for 3hrs/day.

Young learners continue their development in our summer program model. It’s the only summer program we know of that combines literacy services with recreational activities. Students take developmental assessments to gauge their language fluency, reading comprehension, critical thinking, and communication skills.  They invest in skills-building over the summer through literacy training and mini lessons, and cultivate their imagination through creative projects. Students present their creative project to parents, peers, and tutors at the conclusion of the program.  They enjoy daily free lunch and outdoor recreation with peers.  Summer program typically runs from July to August, Monday through Friday, for 5hrs/day.
